The Krisar Academy seeks to raise the quality of kindergarten education by:

1.) Developing curriculum resources to support early childhood educators in creating and delivering quality learning experiences for children 2.5 years to 4 years of age;

2.) Providing quality and affordable pre-school education through the The Krisar Academy Kindergartens; and

3.) An Innovative child-centric approach

4.) Emphasis on understanding the child; his concentration levels, memory, reasoning & creativity

5.) A system of “Continuous Informal Evaluation”, based on class work, theme-based worksheets and observation sessions is followed

6.) Biannual Results to monitor the child’s development

7.) The school follows a non-detention policy in the pre-primary classes.

At The Krisar Academy learning is Exploring, Experimenting and Responding! This is the next rung of the ladder. The curriculum encourages children to explore their interests, as they move concentrically from the known to the unknown. There is a lot scope for creativity, self expression, development of social skills and team work.

Practice and mastery of the specific skills in each of the following curriculum areas will provide students the opportunity to demonstrate independence; demonstrate self-advocacy skills; engage in social interaction; access community resources; acquire and maintain vocational placement, and participate in recreation and leisure activities.

We constantly undertake the part of good teaching practices, ensuring that our teachers are well-equipped in coping with the challenges to explicitly include core content. This is made possible by incorporating through teaching skills real world problems that are brought into focus.

Knowledge – Information procured is recalled and recited

Comprehension – The list of facts and ideas are described, retold, rewritten and explained.

Application – The resultant uptake of comprehensive knowledge is then applied through demonstrations, drawings and creations.

Analysis – Another round of research which includes sharing the analyzed information with others to compare and examine the findings.

Collaboration – Ideas that stem from in-depth scrutiny is then converted into ideas with other fellow students as a team.
